EAST CARBON-Carl Edward Brandon, was born Jan. 4, 1945 in Uravan, Colo.
After a valiant year long struggle against lung cancer, he died in his home at the age of 64 on May 24, 2009 in East Carbon, Utah.
He graduated from East Carbon High School in 1962. He then joined the US Navy where he served as a Fire Control Technician aboard the nuclear submarine USS Daniel Webster. After five years he left the Navy and took various college courses. For most of his working years Carl was a surveyor or a draftsman on various jobs throughout the State of Utah.
He was preceded in death by his father Luther Allen Brandon, his mother, Minnie Mae Jeffrey Brandon, sister Willella Brandon Manning, and a brother Bill Brandon.
He is survived by five brothers, four sisters, and many great nieces and nephews.
Carl Brandon will be truly missed.
