The Helper American Legion team started the season with a pair of wins in Vernal. Over the weekend they played the annual alumni game against former Helper American Legion players.
The alumni started the game strong with their bats, but the younger players soon came back to take the lead.
The game is just for fun to give the older team a chance to get out there and swing the bats against the current legion team. Helper hosted Taylorsville on Monday night and will play against Cyprus in Salt Lake on Wednesday. They will attend the Idaho tournament over the weekend.
