The Southeastern Utah Junior Live Stock Show was held in Ferron on July 10-13. Exhibitors from all over the state came to participate in the annual event. Participants work all year long in preparing their animals for the show. They take great pride in their care. Some of the animals are 4-H projects and others from just individual exhibitors. The animals are cleaned and prepared for their turn on the floor. The judges survey the animals and judge them according to established standards and guidelines. Sheep, cattle and pigs were all part of the show. The animals were auctioned off on Saturday to the highest bidders. A poultry show and rabbit show were also part of the fun.
