Morgan Clark Robertson, of Emery, Utah, passed away at his home on April 5, 2010 from a heart attack. Morgan was born Jan. 6, 1954, in Provo, Utah, and was the first child of Ron and Joyce Robertson of Moab.
Morgan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Velma Hoover, and paternal grandparents, Clark and Dorothy Robertson.
He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Joyce Robertson of Moab, Utah; his four children, Christa Robertson of Baltimore, Md., Jenny (Jude) Tuft of Moab, Heather Robertson of Emery, and Josh Robertson of Emery; his four siblings, Kim (Oriinda) Robertson of Chandler, Ariz., Cindy (Corky) Brewer of Moab, Todd (Kelly) Robertson of Moab, and Travis (Rayelyn) Robertson of Moab; three grandchildren, Hannah Tuft, Emma Tuft, and Ayden Robertson; along with 11 nieces and nephews.
Morgan was born and raised in Provo, Utah until he was 15 years old when the Robertson family moved to Moab, where he finished high school.
In 1971, Morgan married Claudia Miller (Page) and they had two children, Christa Jene’ and Jenny Lee.
In 1981, Morgan married Sonya Hansen and they had two children, Heather Jean and Joshua Clark.
Morgan had many talents. He was an exceptional mechanic and welder. He loved restoring classic cars and designing and creating many things using his welding skills.
Morgan was a successful businessman. He owned and operated many businesses (restaurant, gas station, and many apartments). Morgan was very blessed to ultimately be a true American Cowboy and was lucky enough to own and operate his own cattle ranch, The Quitchupah. His heart always belonged to the open range.
Morgan loved his family with all of his heart, and enjoyed spending time with the ones he loved, and the great outdoors.
