PRICE- Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rosa Maria Ramirez, passed away peacefully Nov. 2, 2010 in Price, Utah. She was born to Carlos and Eladia Castillo Gaytan on Sept. 1, 1937 in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
Married Daniel Ramirez Sr. Nov.4, 1960 in Ciudad Juarez.
Rosa was a selfless and dedicated wife and mother who loved her family dearly. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. Our mother had a generous and giving heart and went without in order to provide the best she could for her family. Our mother always ensured our home was always “home”. She loved each of us unconditionally with all of her heart and soul. We love her and will miss her dearly.
Survived by her loving husband, Daniel Ramirez Sr., Price; children, Sandra (Santos) Ruiz, Price; Daniel (Maria Ernestina) Ramirez, Price; Carlos Ramirez, Price; Laura (Brent) Larsen, West Valley City; 14 grandchildren, Anna, Santos Jr., Rosa, Dawnell, Gonzalo, David, Pablo, Ventura, Daniel, III., Denise, David, Jason, Tristan, and Carina; seven great-grandchildren, Christian, Amanda, Leia, Keyira, A.J., Mariza, Aleihs, and Isaiah.
Preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Eladia Gaytan; brother, Carlos Gaytan.
Funeral Mass, Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, 2 p.m. Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church.
Vigil service, Friday evening 7 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family was at Mitchell’s Friday and at the church Saturday one hour prior to service. Committal, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
