HUNTINGTON-William Hugh Fish, age 86, passed away Nov. 15, 2010 at his home. He was born the second of five children on June 13, 1924 to Max and Zina Fish.
Hugh was born and raised in Huntington. He graduated from North Emery High School. He participated in many activities during high school including track, basketball, and softball. Hugh served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.
On July 15, 1948, he married LeOra Broderick in Castle Dale, and they have been married for 62 years. Together they were blessed with five children.
He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for 35 years. He was also a sheep shearer and a trapper during winter months. He loved being in the outdoors. Most of all, he enjoyed fishing with his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Hugh is survived by his wife, LeOra; children: Scott Hugh Fish of Arizona, Brenda (Shon) Frye of Sigurd, Utah, and Susan (Bill) Moore of Monett, Mo.; a son-in-law, Kenneth Elliott of Mesquite, Nev.; two brothers, Grant Fish of Huntington and Larry (Delena) Fish of Elmo; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Vickie Elliott and Dana Fish; a brother, Brice Fish; and a sister, Jean Saddler.
Graveside services were held Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Huntington City Cemetery. There was a viewing from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to the services at Fausett Mortuary (720 N.
