Richfield, Utah Our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, Monique Charlene “Micky” Clontz, 45, passed away peacefully May 31, 2010, returning home to her Heavenly Father. She was born June 30, 1964, in Richfield, a daughter of Charles William and Patricia Camille Cox Clontz. She married Brian Dell Kesler in 1979, later divorced.
Monique, better known to her friends as “Micky,” was loved by all who knew her. She attended South Sevier High School, and was an active member in the LDS church with a deep abiding love for her Father in Heaven. She was a wonderful cook and used her talent in the food service industry, she became co-owner of the Little Wonder Cafe for five years in the 1990s.
She loved doing crafts and was an artist. She had a deep love for her family and friends and a passion for animals. She loved the outdoors and horseback riding; camping and fishing were among her favorite things to do.
She saw beauty in everything and everyone.
Monique is survived by her two children, Brent Dell Kesler and Christie Dawn Kesler; mother, Patricia Camille Long, all Richfield; sisters, Tammie Gibbs, Elsinore; and Tina Jensen, American Fork; seven grandchildren; and eight special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles William Clontz, and one special nephew, Daniel Alvin Peterson.
Funeral services were planned for Saturday, June 5, at 2 p.m., in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel. Friends were invited to call one hour prior to services. Funeral directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guest book at www.maglebymortuary.com.
