Good news, big game hunters: you have a few extra days to submit your application for a 2010 Utah big game permit.
The application period was supposed to end at 11 p.m. on March 1. But the portion of the Division of Wildlife Resource’s Web site (wildlife.utah.gov), where people apply for permits, experienced technical difficulties the last two days of the period. The site’s speed slowed to a crawl. At times, hunters couldn’t even access the site.
These challenges made it difficult for hunters to get their application in before 11 p.m. on March 1.
For that reason, the DWR will accept applications for an extra week. You now have until 11 p.m. on March 8 to submit your application.
For more information, call the Utah Wildlife Administrative Services office at 1-800-221-0659, the nearest Division of Wildlife Resources office or the DWR’s Salt Lake City office at (801) 538-4700.
