PRICE – Wayne V. Fausett Smith died Saturday, March 27, 2010 after a long struggle with dementia. Wayne was born March 8, 1933 to Charles A and Kisty Fausett. She was the youngest of 10 children having six sisters and three brothers.
She met and married Edwin D. Smith (Mac) April 7, 1956 in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her in death July 12, 1977. Together they have three children, Mac D. (Cindy) Smith Las Vegas, Nev., Drake (Connie) Smith Melborne Fla. and Jeanann (Frank) Zmerzlikar Rock Springs, Wyo.
Wayne was an independent woman who had incredible work ethic, working two jobs most her life. She opened and managed The Office Lounge where many friends shared her love of sports. She worked as a book keeper for various companies and retired from Mountain States Machinery a job she loved and described as “a cushy little job”.
She is survived by her children; five grandsons Seth, Eric, David, Z-Ze, Sean; one great-granddaughter Emily; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Eloise Sacco, Jenny Messenger, George White, Pearl Cook, Jesse Fausett, Ila Spink, Faye Vuksinick, Ray Fausett, and Ruth Fausett.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (680 East 100 South, Price) with a viewing at 1 p.m. prior to the service at the mortuary.
