Huntington has been the place for a flurry of activities the past few weeks as they have celebrated America’s birthday.
In June they held a queen contest, Heritage Days rodeo and a rodeo queen contest.
A softball tourney was held on July 2.
An ice cream social was held in the park along with a baby contest and a pet show.
A Huntington idol contest was held under the new pavilion. The Val Jensen band performed at the ice cream social. July 3 brought more activities with a fun run, breakfast in the park, children’s parade, adult parade, booths and vendors all day in the park; entertainment including a ventriloquist and a band. Kids inflatable toys kept the children busy along with the climbing wall. The day ended with a kids rodeo event and a fireworks display.
