CASTLE DALE-Reiner Paul Bradley, age 61, passed away July 21, 2010. Reiner was born in Salt Lake City on July 15, 1949 to Vincent and Friedl Bradley. He married his sweetheart, Teresa Wilberg, on Oct. 17, 1970 in Castle Dale. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on Nov. 16, 1974.
Reiner lived in Germany for four years as a youth where he was a member of the German Boys Choir. After returning to the states, he attended Sparks High School in Nevada. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a 1st Lieutenant and served in the U.S. Army while stationed in Germany where he and Teresa started their family. After living in Germany for three years, they moved back to the states in 1973. Reiner attended college at the University of Nevada Reno, University of Utah, and BYU. He was a Medical Technologist, X-ray Tech, and Physician Assistant.
Reiner was an Eagle Scout and a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served faithfully in many capacities in the church. Reiner appreciated technology and enjoyed tinkering with gadgets. He was also an artist and enjoyed many hobbies which included tennis, racquetball, bicycling, volleyball, and basketball. He enjoyed coaching his children in their little league teams and later enjoyed supporting all of his children in their sporting activities. Amid all his accomplishments, his family was the most important thing in his life, and he will be greatly missed by them all.
Reiner is survived by his wife, Teresa; four children: Shawn (Annette) Bradley of Murray, Utah, Tasha (Derek) Lowe of Fruita, Colo., Justin (Tina) Bradley of Cleveland, Utah, and Adrianne (Kolby) Shewell of Saratoga Springs, Utah; two brothers: Steffen (Carin) Bradley of Ellensburg, Wash., and Peter (Susan) Bradley of Elko, Nev.; a sister, Bobbie Jo (Roger) Curley of Hipnautical, a sailing ship currently near Tonga; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Friedl Bradley.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Castle Dale LDS 8th North Building (165 W. 800 N., Castle Dale). There will be a viewing at the church on Monday, July 26, from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Castle Dale City Cemetery with full military honors. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
