LAWRENCE-Our beloved and precious father, son, brother and husband, Paul Timothy Simmons, age 33, was suddenly taken from us as a result of a tragic accident on July 29, 2011.
He was born April 8, 1978 in Price, Utah to Tim and Diane Porter Simmons.
Growing up, Paul was a very compassionate and sweet boy to everyone, especially those in need and the elderly. He graduated from Emery High School, and in June of 1997, he married Brianne Mason. They have four beautiful daughters.
Paul pursued a career in law enforcement with the Emery County Sheriff’s Office. He later entered into private business as the owner of Extreme Automotive in Price.
Through his life, Paul made many true and lifetime friends. He was instantly liked by all he met. The greatest love of his life was his four daughters (his girlies). They meant everything to him, and he was their champion. Paul never passed up a homeless animal or a friend in need. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Brianne; daughters, Kamrie, Danielle, Raquelle and Madilyn; parents, Tim and Diane Simmons; sister, Sara (Jason) Lamb; and brother, Josh Simmons.
Funeral Mass, Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, (200 North Carbon Avenue) Price. Vigil service, Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, 7 p.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Family will receive friends Tuesday and Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church. Committal service, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome to share memories of Paul online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to a memorial fund for his girls in Paul’s name at any Zion’s Bank.
