HUNTINGTON – Sharleen Fox Rowley, age 78, passed away April 18, 2011. Sharleen was born Feb. 27, 1933, to Alison and Grace Davis Fox in Orangeville, Utah. She married William Kevin Rowley on April 23, 1955 in Orangeville. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Kevin passed away May 29, 1964.
Sharleen graduated from South Emery High School in 1951 and was an active member of the LDS church. She was a very talented quilt maker, cook, and was known for her service to everyone. Her greatest joy was in serving others. She was actively involved in the DUP and American Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary. She was a caregiver to so many people whom she dearly loved and who loved her. The family wishes to thank her special neighbor and friend, Jack Batt.
She is survived by her sister, Elaine Fox Huntington of Salt Lake City, special nieces, nephews, and dozens of great- and great-great nieces and nephews whom she loves dearly and were a great part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alison and Grace Davis Fox; husband, Kevin Rowley; son, Steven Rowley; and brothers: Mont Fox, George Fox, Henry Fox, Dick Fox, and Lyle Fox.
Graveside services were held Saturday April 23, 2011, at 12:30 p.m., at the Huntington City Cemetery. There was a viewing that same day from 10:30 a.m. – 12 Noon at the Huntington LDS Stake Center (240 North Main Street). Services were in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
