WELLINGTON-Alberto Cocciolo, age 74, passed away on Jan. 4, 2011 in Price, Utah. Al was born to Dominico and Eleonora Davina Davide Cocciolo on Aug. 26, 1936 in Ethiopia, Africa. Al married Janelle Kocher in Long Beach, Calif., she passed away in 2005, and he later married JoAnne Anderson, daughter of Betty and DeLoy R. Anderson on June 14, 1987 in Long Beach, Calif..
Al was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was baptized on Aug. 26, 2008 by his father-in-law DeLoy R. Anderson. He worked as a machinist/welder through out his life. Al enjoyed sports and was an avid soccer player. He loved being with his family and enjoyed the ocean.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne, and children: Claudia (Paul) Janik of Arvada, Colo., Jessica Cocciolo of Price, Rocky Cocciolo of Scottsdale, Ariz., and step-daughter, Teresa Cocciolo Sizemore of Colo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: infant Bruno, and Bruno Cocciolo.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Wellington LDS First ward chapel, 50 North 100 East. A viewing was held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior the services at the church. Service were in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Interment was in the Wellington City Cemetery. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Al at www.fausettmortuary.com.
