PRICE-Shirley D. Christensen, age 72, passed away in the comfort of her home on Jan. 4, 2011. She was born on April 15, 1938 in Cleveland, Utah to Robert Davis and Vandel Anderson Davis. She married Wendell H Christensen on Oct. 31, 1969 in Huntington, Utah.
Shirley enjoyed decorating her yard, making ceramics and collecting dolls. A week never went by without her watching her wrestling. She enjoyed country music and her favorite was George Strait. Shirley is survived by her stepsons: Gary (Hazel) Christensen, Wendell (Diane) Christensen, sisters: Mary Lou (Albert) Slama, Patsy (Warren) Omel; brother, Abraham Davis; sister-in-law, Nanabeth Davis; her niece Peggy, the daughter she never had: several grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Shirley had a special relationship with her niece April.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wendell; two brothers; three sister; three nephews; and two nieces.
Funeral services were on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011. Interment was in the Price City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Shirley at www.fausettmortuary.com
