ORANGEVILLE – Patricia Joanne Blackburn, age 55 passed away Dec. 19, 2011 at Castleview Hospital. She was born June 10, 1956 in Sacramento, Calif. to Theodore and Carment Clark. She married Douglas Ludean Blackburn on May 8, 2001 in Castle Dale, Utah.
Patricia worked for the power plant as a security guard. She had attended CEU and was a member of the Orangeville LDS Third Ward. She enjoyed camping in the mountains and desert, farming, her animals and horses. She was faithful in writing letters and cards, often in multi colored ink. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and husband. Anything Doug enjoyed, she was at his side enjoying it also. She had a special relationship with Mom Adela.
She is survived by two sons and four daughters: Calloway (Brandi) Guymon of Sunnyside, Utah; Troy (Christine) Miller of California; Deanna Keser of Castle Dale; Sara Croft and Jennifer Taylor both of Huntington; and Bridget Blackburn of Wisconsin. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and her mother of California, along with two brothers and three sisters; Mark and Paula of North Carolina, Teddy and Lynn of Colorado, Donni, Mona, Hazel and Linda all of California. She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Orangeville Third Ward Chapel on 800 North in Castle Dale. A memorial service will be held at the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
