FERRON, UTAH-Our beloved mother and grandmother, Wilma Paulette Wotruba Young, 74, passed away Oct. 14, 2011, in the Draper Care Center after a long battle with various medical conditions. She was born July 18, 1937 in Jacksonville, Fla., the daughter of William and Florence Pendarvis Wotruba. She goes to join her husband of 52 years, Gareth YuVon Young, who preceded her in death Feb. 24, 2010. They were married on Sept. 20, 1958 in Elko, Nev. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, Feb. 17, 1960.
She is survived by children: Chad (Kathy) Young, Ryan (Amy) Young, Tempie Berry and eight grandchildren. She is also survived by her half-sister, Laurel Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in the Emery LDS Chapel, 70 North Center Street. Friends may call at the ward chapel from 10-11 a.m. Interment will be in the Emery City Cemetery.
