PRICE-Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Madge Roberts Mangus, age 82, passed away Oct. 1, 2011 at her granddaughter’s home in Colorado after a valiant fight with cancer.
She was born March 15, 1929 in Richfiled, Utah to Snow and Neta Boren Roberts.
In 1946, she married Keith Skinner in Provo, he later died. On July 1, 1959, Madge married Mike Mangus, in Green River, Wyo.; he also preceded her in death on April 8, 1992.
Madge was a longtime resident of the area and during her youth she enjoyed horseback riding. Nana loved keeping busy and her favorite hobbies included painting, gardening and working on various craft projects. Her life evolved around her family and she especially cherished the memories she shared with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Jeanette Santistevan, Vicky (Johnny) Butkovich, Roseann Sailors, Keith (Kathie) Skinner; siblings, Marjorie (Mike) Baessler, Ranee (Gene) Rhodes, Janice (Ted) Davies, Louise (Mel) Atwood, Larry (Joanne) Roberts;11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Aleisha Keddington; siblings, Rocky, Benny, Blaine, Merrell, Dean Roberts and Utana Cole.
Funeral service, Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, 10 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
