Orangeville held their Orangeville Spring Clean Up Day on April 28. The clean up started at 8 a.m. A pot luck lunch was scheduled for 1 p.m. at the park for all those who came out and took part in the clean-up.
Orangeville volunteers were seen cleaning up the weeds, dead grass and brush from several properties around Orangeville Main Street.
One lot that was targeted for clean up was at the corner of State Highway 29 and North Main Street in Orangeville. This piece of property had been neglected for some time and the city asked the owners for permission to clean-up the lot.
Orangeville’s Fire Department was on hand to help burn dead grass and brush.
