The Emery County Travel Bureau recently hosted a FAM (familiarization) visit with tour Representatives from London and Germany. May 13, Lamar Guymon, owner of San Rafael Country Adventures in Huntington, led them on a hike of the Little Grand Canyon (Wedge Overlook).
That evening they had a delicious BBQ dinner prepared by Kent and Julie Wilson, owners of BK’s Stop n Shop in Huntington. Early Monday morning they enjoyed hot coffee with fresh fruit parfait and spicy breakfast burritos prepared by Mark and Taina Benson, owners of Gilly’s Inn, located in Ferron.
The group was then given a tour of the San Rafael Swell. These representatives were excited to get back home and write about their experience here in San Rafael Country. It is a goal of the Emery County Travel Bureau to bring in visitors to boost our local business economy.
