HUNTINGTON-Stacey Sandstrom Gordon our daughter, wife, mother, and best friend was taken home to her Heavenly Father suddenly on May 5, 2012.
She was born Feb. 18, 1972, the first daughter of Terry and Jeanette Withers Sandstorm. Stacey was truly the most amazing women you could have the privilege of knowing; her smile and example will never be forgotten. She was truly an inspiration to all.
Stacey married her high school sweetheart, Jim Gordon for time and eternity on June 29, 1990 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They are the proud parents of six amazing children.
Stacey served as an EMT for the Emery County Ambulance for 12 years and was known by all as the most caring, compassionate and loving care giver. Being an EMT was truly a love of hers and she took great pride in her knowledge and abilities. Stacey also served in a number of different callings as a member of the LDS Church. She most enjoyed her time working in the Young Women’s organization. Stacey was blessed with an abundance of talents and she was very fond of crafting, sewing, cooking, and gardening to name just a few.
Stacey’s true love was her family and she could always be found in the stands cheering on her children no matter the time or place. She was an amazing mother and truly found joy in caring for her family. She was known as “Momma Stace” to all of her extended family and children. Taking care of Jim was her full-time passion. They were inseparable.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Gordon; four sons and two daughters, Tristan (T.J.), Damion, Kelsey, Brentan, Jaron, Alizabeth (Lizzie); mother, Jeanette Sandstrom; brothers, Brett (Cindy) Sandstrom, Travis (Christal) Sandstrom; sister, Tiffany (Chris) Anderson.
Preceded in death by her father and three of her grandparents.
