Price-Carol Amber Powell Fausett passed away peacefully in the early morning of Aug. 13, 2012. Carol was born on April 1, 1929 the only daughter of Grant and Ruby Powell. She and Dee Fausett were married April 23, 1946 and together had five children.
Carol was the kind of mother and grandmother everyone wished they could have. There was not a better homemaker, cook or interior decorator. Grandma was the perfect hostess and loved to gather her family together. She truly nurtured everyone around her and also was mother to many foster children.
Carol is survived by her sweetheart of 66 years, Dee Fausett, daughters: Dixie (John) Gomez, Nancy (John) Boyle, sons: Blake and Don (Kathy) Fausett, daughter-in-law, Robynn Fausett, 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Butch. She also leaves many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and a community of friends.
Preceded in death by sons: Doug and Lyle and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Fausett Mortuary Chapel, 680 East 100 South, Price, Utah. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012 from 6-8 p.m., also on Thursday, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Fausett Mortuary. Interment will be at the Grames-Powell Cemetery 350 West Railroad Ave. Price, Utah. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
