Rob Powell will speak about adapting to an ever changing workplace. Powell said, “This training identifies three major obstacles that alter our ability to adapt to change in workplaces, and looks at ways to deal with an ever changing world. We will also discuss the basic application of skills necessary to communicate effectively in a changing work environment.”
Powell studied at the University of Utah and Weber State University where he received a B.S. degree in psychology and various counseling certificates. he has worked for 16 years in the human behavioral field. He was a social worker for the state of Utah, he has worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for teens, and has taught workforce education classes for the past 13 years at USU Eastern.
