The Lady Pirates had a very busy week last week as they took on two region opponents and celebrated their homecoming week. In the fourth quarter the Lady Pirates were plagued with foul trouble. All four starters had at least three fouls and Green River had to let up on the defensive pressure. The Cougars came back but it was too late and Green River picked up an easier than anticipated win, 66-55.
Michaela Hughes led all scorers with 28 points on 13 for 19 shooting. She picked up another double, double also as she pulled down 11 boards.
