The Emery County Recreation Board has made the decision to change stock contractors for the 2014 Desertview Pro Rodeo. They will also look at changing the weekend from the last weekend of July to the first weekend in August to coincide with the Emery County fair.
Board members are concerned that attendance at both the rodeo and the fair were down in 2012.
Sankey Rodeo Productions has been the rodeo contractor since the Pro Rodeo started. His contract will run through 2013 after which it will not be renewed. In 2014 the rodeo stock contractor will be Bar T from Manti.
