District Court Judge George Harmond issued a ruling affirming the state’s decision to allow Blue Castle Holdings to withdraw more than 53,000 acre feet of water from the Green River for their proposed nuclear reactor project. The trial took place in late September. The case was filed by Heal Utah, who argued the state engineer had erred in awarding Blue Castle water. More information will be available in the Tuesday edition of the Emery County Progress and Sun Advocate.
