CASTLE DALE – Ralph Crockett Bluemel, age 73, took Jesus’ hand and left this world Dec. 11, 2013. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to W.R. (Teeny) and Ceone Crockett Bluemel on Feb. 26, 1940.
Ralph was a hardworking family man to whom God and family meant everything. As a young man, Ralph married Jamie Parry upon returning from serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. To this union was born Johnie Ceone and Christian Ralph. Ralph and Jamie were later divorced.
Ralph became reacquainted with a family friend, Corey Earl, and they were married May 12, 1975. He adopted Corey’s two daughters, Dana and Deana.
Ralph will be missed.
Surviving him are his wife, Corey; children: Johnie (Tim Garrett) Bluemel, Chris Bluemel, Dana (Larry) Anderson, and Deana (Bill) Ceal; four wonderful grandchildren: Kyle, Breanna, Garritt, and Shelby; sister, Joyce (Leon) Jaeger; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul; sister, Daisy; and granddaughter, Carol.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Desert Edge Christian Chapel (15 East 500 South, Huntington). As per Ralph’s wishes, he was cremated.
