An Angel came by on July 23, 2013 and took our Nancy Ann Brasher Lyons (April 22, 1958 – July 23, 2013) back to her Father in Heaven. It has left an empty spot in our hearts that only Nancy filled. She was born on April 22, 1958 to Samuel Chester and Ruth N. Otterstrom Brasher in Price, Utah. She was the youngest of four siblings, Lynda McBride, Lynn and JuDee Brasher. She was devoted to her husband Robert Irvin Olson Lyons and her son Lynn Dale Lyons and she gave her heart and life to caring for their personal needs. After thirty five years of marriage they still found their lives filled with sharing daily life, playing with the dog, feeding their horses, looking after their cows and long rides from Lyman, Wyoming in their pickup truck back to Huntington, Utah.
Nancy was a loving aunt and never forgot her family and friends. She reached out to them by Facebook or phone calls. Our memories of her fun loving personality, caring ways and interest in others will surely be missed. She graduated from Emery County High School and attended the College of Eastern Utah.
She had a laugh that identified her great sense of humor. We all have her beautiful craft projects of crocheting, embroidering, knitting or other gifts that enrich our homes. We Love You Nancy Ann Lyons. She had a strong testimony of the Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ and served in positions in the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. She knows her life is eternal and she will live once again with her loved ones still here on earth and those who welcomed her into life beyond this mortal existence.
Graveside services were held Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Huntington City Cemetery, Huntington, Utah. Online condolences www.cannonmortuary.com.
