Emery High drama to present Almost Maine Feb. 13-14; 18, 20

The Emery High Theatre Department will present the non-musical play, ALMOST, MAINE. This production will be on Feb. 13, 14, 18, and 20, in the Spartan Center Little Theatre at 7 p.m. each evening. Tickets are $3 per person.
ALMOST MAINE takes place in an unincorporated section of northern Maine that is not quite but “almost” a town, thus the name. The play is a series of scenes that all take place in the “town” at 9 p.m. on a February night. Though the scenes come one at a time, they are all – in theory – happening at the same time. The play features 16 students in eight scenes and is a comedy, a farce, and a drama all at the same time. It is in fact, a relationship play that examines the entire range of human emotions. Tickets may be purchased at the door on the night of the performance.
