Garett B. Lake of Yucaipa, Calif. has been selected to participate in the Naval Academy summer STEM program, this June at Annapolis, Md. The Naval Academy STEM Program is open to students going in to 8th – 11th grades that are interested in engineering. The program focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, with an emphasis on energy and light infrastructure, biometrics, automation ad robotics. Garett is very excited to have this opportunity. Garett is in the 8th grade at Mesa View Middle School, Calimesa, Calif., where he has been a part of the Mustang Robotic team and STEM program. Garett’s goal is to one day become a robotics engineer.
Garett is the son of Kenneth and April Lake of Yucaipa, Calif. He is the grandson of Keith and Genevieve Lake and Bryan and Kathleen Clements of Castle Dale.
