The Emery County Business Chamber will host its November Lunch and Learn in Green River. The speaker will be Ricardo Flores from the Utah Film Commission. He will speak on the film industry in Utah and how businesses can get involved when a film shoot comes to your area. The business spotlight will be Veteres Melons of Green River. Ricardo (Ricky) Flores is currently the Marketing and Creative Executive with the Utah Film Commission, a position he has held since 2008. He joined the Film Commission in 2004, serving as a Program Specialist and later took on the role of Digital Media Specialist.
As the Marketing and Creative Executive, Ricky implements marketing, advertising and promotion strategies. He also oversees events, marketing missions, and the Sundance Film Festival partnership for the Utah Film Commission.
Ricky received his BA from the University of Utah in Film Studies and has worked in various digital media consulting and broadcasts fields. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for the School of Arts, Communication and Media at Salt Lake Community College.
Ricky is a Utah native currently residing in Murray, Utah with his wife Teresa and their four children.
