Mike Tatton, was born in Price, Utah to parents Lamar and Shirley Tatton on May 7, 1955. Mike was a life-long resident of Carbon County and graduated from Carbon High School in 1973. Mike loved spending time outdoors: hunting, fishing, and camping with family. Mike was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association. He dedicated many years of his life to local coal mines and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. Mike passed away peacefully on Nov. 14, 2014 surrounded by family and loved ones. He is survived by two daughters: Jordan and Kelsey Tatton, brother Randy (Jennie) Tatton, and sister Joan (Cory) Burgess, as well as many adored nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brent Tatton. Services will be held at the Helper Civic Auditorium on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. Family will be in attendance one hour prior to service.
