Ribbon cutting: Total Insanity Motorsports

The Emery County Business Chamber on Dec. 16 held a ribbon cutting for the new Ferron business Total Insanity Motor Sports.
Bill Langston the owner has worked in Las Vegas and Chicago before opening this new business Total Insanity Motor Sports at 170 South Main Street in Ferron. His wife Lacie Langston is the secretary, bookkeeper and everything but a mechanic. When they first started out Lacie helped Bill with his motorcycle mechanic work by changing oil on motorcycles. Bill now has one full time employee Kyle Jones who lives in Emery. In the summer Bill expects to hire two full time employees. This business is set up to service all major brands of motorcycle and ATVs.
The Ferron building being leased by Bill Langston was, at different times, a laundromat, a Hair salon, dog grooming and a dance studio. Bill began using the back half of the building and slowly expanded the business to take over the rest of the building. He has been in business in Ferron about two years and is progressively improving each year. The new show room in the front of the building will be a great asset by bringing additional revenue. The items on display in the show room are to provide locals with no need to travel out of the county for riding accessories.
In the showroom there are displays of motorcycle accessories such as high quality clothing. They have on hand Troy Lee Design clothing for sale. The nearest other place where this clothing can be purchased is Salt Lake or Ogden. Bill pointed out that he has riding gear, helmets, gloves, riding accessories, sweat shirts, T-shirts and pit shirts, He also has a line of Fly Racing helmets and riding gear.
In addition to the motorcycle accessories Bill said we also have ATV accessories like winter gear. He has goggle equipment on hand from Dragon, Fly Racing and Troy Lee. Bill displayed a cargo pack called Cargo Vise made in Fairview. The cargo packs are manufactured to carry riding gear on snowmobiles and ATVs.
He also has a line of Strider Bikes for training children to learn how to balance himself or herself when riding a bike. The Strider Bike helps build up their confidence. The Strider Bikes come in sizes made for each age group from children to adults.
