The Emery County community theatre will present “Tied to the Tracks.” It is about a little town in North Dakota right around statehood in the 1880s. A medicine show has come to town bringing a snake oil salesmen who is as oily as his snake oil. He tries to marry the town sweetheart Dakota Melody, who also happens to be Sheriff Billy Bold’s girl. Trouble ensues especially when the local bandit Wild Prairie Rose and her gang shows up. Come see who will be tied to the tracks and will they be saved by the brave Sheriff and will Wild Prairie Rose get to rob the train? This show is full of fun songs and great one-liners. Come and laugh with us, after all laughter is the best medicine there is. March 20, 21, and 22. The show will be at 7 pm with a 2 pm matinee on Saturday March 22, in the Emery High School Auditorium. Cost will be $5.
