On June 21, Jeremy Jewkes cut the ribbon for the new NAPA store in Green River. The community was invited to the store for a free barbeque lunch, free items and drawings for many prizes, including a Kenmore barbeque with cover. There was also a separate drawing for kids to win prizes.
Jewkes said, the Green River NAPA store has been painted and remodeled on the inside. The store is fully stocked with a large inventory of parts. The store is being managed by John Gardner. NAPA offers a complete line of auto parts including, oil, windshield washer fluid, windshield wipers, batteries, oil filters, coolant, tools, flashlights, car cleaning supplies and much more.
If you were unable to attend the grand opening the Jewkes invite you to come into the store to check it out. They have a family friendly environment and a clean well stocked store with competitive prices.
Jeremy Jewkes is overseeing the Green River store. His family owns and operates J & D Auto in Castle Dale. J & D has been serving Emery County for 30 years and was started by Jim and Derri Jewkes. Jim has sold the business to his four sons, Derri, Jeremy, Shawn and Jason. Jim continues to be involved as a consultant and advisor as well as going on deliveries for the business.
Jeremy Jewkes said for now the Green River store will sell parts, future expansion and services will depend on customer requirements. Their business will expand as Green River grows.
The NAPA store in Green River will employee people from the Green River community.
Throughout the day of the grand opening more than 250 people showed up to welcome the new store.
The event was catered by Smoke Pit BBQ, who provided a lunch of your choice; choices included, brisket, pulled pork, hamburger, hotdog, chips drinks and side dishes were also served.
