HUNTINGTON – Our beloved angel, Brittany Fama Defa unexpectedly went to be with our Heavenly Father on June 29, 2014. She left us too soon at the young age of 25. Her beautiful singing voice will be missed, but enjoyed in Heaven.
Brittany was born May 7, 1989 in Price, Utah to Kenny and Fama Nielsen Defa. She was the youngest of nine children. Brittany or better known by her siblings as “Brattany” enjoyed camping, exploring the desert and mountains, and spending time with her family and friends. She adored her family and loved being an aunt to her nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed by her father and mother, Kenny and Fama; siblings, Randy (Camie), Brenda (Jeff), Kenna (Mike), Krista (Rob), Jeremy, Kurt (Nicole), Jacob, Marisa (Nathan); fourteen nieces and nephews who loved her so much; friends, and boyfriend Nicholas Marshall.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Harry Defa, Ivan and Esther Nielsen, and uncles Garrell Nielsen and David A. Nielsen.
Funeral service, Thursday, July 3, 2014, 11 a.m., Desert Edge Christian Chapel in Huntington, Utah. Family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment, Huntington City Cemetery.
