Taylen Leo Nielsen and Garett B. Lake were honored at an Eagle Court of Honor, held on the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier decommissioned in San Diego, Calif., Saturday April 29 at 11 a.m. Taylen completed his Eagle June 2013 and Garett completed his Eagle Nov. 2013. Garett has earned 57 merit badges and is still earning others at this time. Both young men are cousins and decided to have their Court of Honor together celebrating with many of their friends and family.
Taylen Nielsen has been attending Snow College and will be working this summer with the Forest Service. He is the son of Shane and Laurel Nielsen and the grandson of Chris and Sunny Nielsen and Bryan and Kathleen Clements all of Castle Dale.
Garett Lake is a student at Mesa View Middle School, Calimesa, Calif. He is the son of Kenneth and April Clements of Yucaipa, Calif. He is the grandson of Keith and Genevieve Lake and Bryan and Kathleen Clements of Castle Dale
