CLEVELAND-Bonnie L. Bishop Johansen, age 86, passed away on July 10, 2014 in Price, Utah. She was born on Nov. 27, 1927 in Sunnyside, Utah to Ernest and Elizabeth Jensen Bishop. She married Ruel Wayne Johansen on December 31, 1946 in Cleveland, Utah; he passed away on January 16, 1953. She married Glendon Lynn Johansen on November 28, 1953, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Bonnie was raised in Cleveland, Utah. Graduated from North Emery High School. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in numerous callings. She worked at Cleveland Elementary as a lunch lady and later as the school lunch supervisor. Bonnie enjoyed many lifelong friendships. Every Saturday night was spent playing Pinochle and many days were spent roaming the desert with her special friend Zona Jensen. She also enjoyed her road trips to Mesquite.
Survived by her children: Laura (Garlon) Majors of Sandy, Utah, Denise (Dennis) Richardson, of Spring Glen, Utah, Nancy (Louis) Shelley, of Price, Utah, Beth (Max) Lopan, of Castle Dale, Utah, Mike (Kate) Johansen of Huntington, Utah, sisters: Faye Johansen of Price, Utah, Colleen (Glen) Hansen of Cleveland, Utah, brother Lamar (Merlin) Bishop of Price, Utah, 28 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husbands, parents, brother, four sisters, son-in-law, and two great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank all those at the Heirloom and Parkdale Care center for the loving care and friendships she made there.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Cleveland LDS Chapel. A viewing was held Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cleveland LDS church and also on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment, Cleveland Town Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may shares memories of Bonnie at www.fausettmortuary.com.
