The Wells Fargo bank in Castle Dale will be closing on Oct. 9. The branch sent a letter to its customers on July 10. The letter stated: “We are pleased to have you as our customer and are committed to keeping you informed of any changes at your banking store. We are writing to inform you that we have made the decision to close our Castle Dale store. The store will close at 3 p.m. on Oct. 9.”
The letter mentions other Wells Fargo locations in the area include the Price and Helper stores. The Price store is open from Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The drive-up hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
In Helper the lobby and drive-up are open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and on Fridays from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.
The letter did not mention a reason for the closure. The letter was signed by Jeff D. Daily area president and Brandon Meredith, district manager.
