Dear Editor:
On Feb. 13 Emery County arrested a bicycle gang in Elmo. Three young adults would ride pedal bikes around Elmo town and surrounding homes and go up to the door and knock. If someone answered they would say they were looking for an off the wall name that didn’t live there and move on. If no one answered they would go in the house and look for who knows what.
Last night they were caught coming from my home outside Elmo by my teenage kids. The kid called and reported it and the sheriff’s office had enough to make an arrest. At the time my son was in the shower so no one answered the door but the bike gang fled when they heard him getting out of the upstairs shower.
I would like to thank the Emery County Sheriff’s Office for the wonderful job taking care of this problem. Keep up the good work.
