HUNTINGTON-Don Neal Scovill, age 46, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Nov. 4, 2015 in the comforts of his home.
He was born April 18, 1969 in Price, Utah to Neal and Diana Cowley Scovill. Married Melissa Jones and they were blessed with a daughter Kylie prior to their divorce.
Don was a graduate of Emery High School and the Wyoming Technical Institute where he excelled in auto-mechanics. He was passionate about vehicles at an early age and could fix just about anything. He loved to tinker, restore autos and he could always be found under the hood of some project. Don was a dedicated individual who enjoyed working alongside his friends at Nielson Construction.
Family meant the world to him and he was happiest while spending time with his daughter and his grandkids. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting, riding motorcycles and 4 wheelers. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his parents, Neal and Diana Scovill of Huntington; daughter, Kylie (Preston) Wilson and Don’s grandchildren, Sage and Weston all of Price; sister, Layna Johnson, Huntington; niece, Misha (Derek) Barry and their son, Jaxon all of Huntington; nephew, Josh (Tausha) Johnson and their children, Braidon, Payton and Emma of Huntington; niece, Misty (Kyle) Jensen, and their family, Aiden and Aiya of Layton. Don also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and longtime friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his beloved brother, Matthew Scovill.
A Celebration of life was held Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, 12:00 noon at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price. Family received friends at Mitchell’s one half hour prior to services.
