GREEN RIVER-Our beloved son, brother, uncle, COACH and friend to all, Conner returned to his Heavenly Father on Jan. 10, 2015 at the age of 22.
Conner was born May 21, 1992 in Price, Utah to Jeff and Valerie Farnsworth Newland. He lived an awesome life in spite of the challenges due to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Conner grew up in Green River, Utah and was a proud Green River Pirate graduating in 2011. He attended USU-Eastern following high school.
Conner loved to do many things and accomplished much: coaching, riding mules, hunting, hanging out with friends, traveling with cousins, the Utah Jazz, and being with family. He was a great listener, and always made you laugh.
He was an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survived by his parents, Jeff and Valerie Newland; brothers, BJ Newland (Tammy), Travis Newland (Bailie), Lonnie (Shari) Tatum, sister, Natalie Newland; nephews and niece, grandparents Val and Betty Farnsworth.
Preceded in death by grandparents Bill and Adelia Newland.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at the Green River LDS Church at 12:00 noon. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at the Elgin Cemetery in Green River, Utah. Special thanks to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price, Utah.
