The region meet for Emery golf was held at the Carbon Country Club. Shaidon Killpack 93 Derrick Fuller 99 Logan Healey 105. Emery finished second overall and Oakley Toomer was 8th McKoy Holt was 9th and Race Nielson was 10th. Scores were totaled from the entire season. All six of the Emery golfers qualified for the state tournament.
The state tournament was held over two days at Soldier Hollow golf course in Midway. Emery finished sixth overall and McCoy Holt was to top finisher for Emery as he placed 11th in state.
Two day totals were Oakley Toomer 179; McKoy Holt-166; Race Nielson-173; Shaidyn Killpack-182; Deryk Fuller-194; Logan Healy 224; team total 700.
Sixteen teams qualifying for the championship meet.
Grand High of Moab was the winner as the team shot a 624 over the two days. Waterford and Beaver finished second and third as they shot a 737 and a 646. The Emery High Spartan team finished in sixth place with an even 700 score. Emery shot a 353 the first day and improved slightly on the second day as they shot a 347.
A golfer from Waterford had the best individual score at 141. McKoy Holt had the best score of the Spartan golfers with a 166. Holt finished 11th overall. Race Nielson finished 21st overall as he shot a 173. Also scoring for the team were Oakley Toomer with a 179 and Shaidyn Killpack with a 182. Playing but not counting in the final team scores were Deryk Fuller and Logan Healey. Fuller shot a 194 and Healey finished with a 224.
