Lamont W. Law was born Feb. 27, 1939, passed away Nov. 3, 2017. He was raised in Orangeville, Utah. Lamont graduted from Emery High School in 1957. Afterwards, he attended Brigham Young University where he graduated in 1966. He continued his education at New Mexico State in Las Cruces, New Mexico where he received his masters.
After school he joined the army for 22 years. He was a major at the time he retired. Lamont then began working for Lock Heed Martin in Dugway, Utah, where he spent a decade then retired. After retirement, Lamont moved back to Orangeville, Utah where he lived until this August. Lamont passed away in Providence, Utah on Nov. 3, 2017.
He is survived by his wife Mauree Law, children Susan (Richard) Netzley, Julie (David) Curtis, Amy Price, brother Sherald (Emma) Law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by brother Wesley Ruane Law and sister Ruby May Snow. The viewing will be held on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at Orangeville Second Ward from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday at Orangeville Second Ward at 11 a.m.
