Our honor society induction ceremony had some amazing talents and speeches. We were told what was expected of us. We were told that we represented San Rafael Middle School. We pledged to uphold all of the standards such as being kind and loyal just to name a few.
Speeches were given by our Chapter President, Tyler Stilson, Vice-President, Trevin Wakefield, Reporter, Kegley Terry, Secretary, Faryn Hulse, and our 8th Grade Class President, Byron Christiansen.
There was a lot of talents and all of them were unique like gymnastics by Nick Lake or juggling and unicycling by Colten, just to name a few. Everyone did a good job and every talent was unique. There were so many talents. After speeches were made by teacher and students and talents were done, we had brownies and ice cream for refreshments.
After that, we all went home feeling pride in our heart knowing what was expected of us and how to make us and our school a better place. We realized that we are going to have to work, that we are not just going to get a good life handed to us. We will have to work for a better world, so will you.
