The Orangeville City Council was opened by Mayor Roger Swenson.
One of the first items on the agenda was the swearing in of Travis Tuttle as the Orangeville City Animal Control Officer.
Mayor Swenson commented that Travis has already been active in taking care of two animal control issues and had assisted with the Rabies Clinic held at the Old Fire House. The Mayor offered to send Travis Tuttle to Animal Control Officer Training in Green River if Travis could arrange to go.
The City Council approved a $720 Homen Equipment Company charge for giving back to Homen Equipment their backhoe.
Jason Mills received City Council approval of his Kennel Permit.
The City Council will attend an Open Meeting Training prior to the regular scheduled City Council meeting.
The Mayor indicated that the Emery County Emergency Medical Services contract with Orangeville City would not be approved until the county made some necessary changes to the contract. He said only Green River and Emery City have approved the contract thus far.
