Mason Moss receives scholarship

Vickie Anderson of NettWorth Financial awarded a scholarship to Mason Moss. She said her company is from Georgia.
It was her husband’s business. “I am pleased to come and meet Mason. There were more than 304 applicants. Mason’s transcript and grades made him a good candidate.
“He included several recommendations. One was from his theatre teacher who said Mason was on the stage crew and always completed complex tasks on time.
“He takes the time when training the younger students to run the sound equipment. He is always respectful and friendly. Mason is an outstanding candidate for the scholarship. Mason’s welding teacher said he was a very skilled welder and works hard on the machines.
“He’s well on his way to becoming a machinist. He works with his father on the farm.
“Mason has learned to fix things up and has learned many skills. He has learned some of them from Emery High and some from hands-on work. He drug home a 1998 Toyota and fixed it up. One by one all the challenges were met and he drove the car to school every day,” said Anderson.
Anderson thanked Mason for being a great student. She presented the scholarship to him along with his parents Lee and Staci Moss.
