Kaylee Taylor holds her proclamation which claims her wish is granted to go to Walt Disney World in Florida.

One of Emery County’s special princesses will be on her way to meet the princesses at Walt Disney World® in Florida. Kaylee Taylor was granted her wish and her dream will come true as she will meet her favorite princesses Cinderella and Rapunzel.
Kaylee has had a rough time since being diagnosed with leukemia one year ago. Since that time she has had to undergo two liver biopsies, a gall bladder removal and a host of other doctor’s visits. During this time, Kaylee’s family found out they qualified for a wish with Make-A-Wish® Utah.
It didn’t take long for Kaylee to know what her wish would be. She wished for a trip to Walt Disney World® so that she could meet her favorite princesses.
Kaylee has never been to Walt Disney World®  before and has never flown on a plane, so this will be quite the fun adventure for her.
Kaylee is five years old. Her mom said, “Kaylee is a sweet and strong little girl. She loves her brother and little sister more than anything in the whole world”
A close second behind Kaylee’s love for her family is her love for princesses. Her favorites are Cinderella and Rapunzel. She watches Rapunzel all the time.
When Kaylee was first diagnosed she was hospitalized for a few months. She developed a fungal infection in her liver.
She has had a surgery to put in a port for her treatments and lumbar punctures every two weeks to make sure the leukemia is not spreading into her spine.
Kaylee is on several medications, chemotherapy, steroids and pain medication. Kaylee has a home health nurse that comes weekly to give her chemotherapy and blood draws.
Kaylee travels weekly to Primary Childrens Hospital for chemotherapy treatments. She will have to do this for the next two years. You can donate to help Kaylee at the local credit union.
