90th Birthday: Laverna Petersen

On Saturday, July 8, Laverna Petersen of Ferron will celebrate her 90th birthday with her children and grandchildren at a family reunion in Joe’s Valley.  Last year in July Laverna celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary with Don Petersen but in September Don passed away.  Laverna lives on her own at home now but continues to be active in the LDS church, the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the American Legion Auxiliary.
