There’s a new bed and breakfast in Orangeville. You can rent the house by the day or night and weekly rentals are available.
Lauri Davis is the owner of the rental The Hangout. “We are listed on Air BnB we are a hikers retreat and a climbers retreat. You can rent rooms for family members who are home for weddings, funerals, family reunions. We are offering the house to fill a niche in the county. It’s also for day use too if someone needs to take a shower or do laundry or fix a meal.
“You can rent one of the rooms or the whole house. There are three bedrooms.  We are hoping the locals will use the house too. If you have people coming into town, this is a great place for them to stay. We have luxury accommodations. It’s really nice. We have high end linens and bedding. We have a lot of unique features. There’s a 60 inch TV so guests can watch a movie. There is Wifi/satellite with a sports package. There’s a two car garage.
“We have a masseuse who can come in and do massages, we have yoga classes if you want those. We offer a shuttle service up the canyon to the bouldering areas. We have a full kitchen, showers and a jetted tub.
“The landscaping in the yard is really unique too. There’s a deck out back and lawn space. You can call me at 385-228-8066 for more information and reservations. We are on Facebook and online at AirBnB.com and VRBO.com.
“I’m really excited, we’ve been getting international calls. I’ve had an inquiry from a family in Norway and booked a family from Canada. There’s a guy coming down from Pleasant Grove to do some fishing up Joe’s Valley.
“We will have someone available at all times to accommodate our guests. We’ll serve a continental breakfast and I’ll find out what each guest wants to eat. We will have yogurts, fresh fruits and other breakfast items. Guests will be able to help themselves to whatever they want.
“Everyone I’ve talked to is so excited to have us open. Emery County is an international destination. We have people coming here from all over,” said Davis.
Davis hosted her grand opening on Feb. 14 and offered tours of the new rental.
The Emery County Business Chamber held a ribbon cutting to welcome the new business into the county.
